This is what the pune show room replied for one querry about the the new pulsar 220cc DTsFi Price and availability. There was a strong rumour in leading bike forums about the Pune showroom displaying Pulsar DTSFi 220cc for sale and no one had the proof. Finally this email confirmed it all. And wait , Pulsar 200cc is also launched in Pune with 72000 RS.(on the Road)[[According to an XBHP member]] . But with FI and more power , 12k extra for a Pulsar 220cc seems to be a perfect option! So guys , thats the Xmas present from Bajaj!

THere are three Pulsar 220Fi displayed! Blue, Red and Black..The bookings have started and 10 have already been booked..THere is a waiting of 10 to 12 days for the black colour but the blue one is available off the shelf!The price is 83450 on road..The bikewill be available for test riding on the Dyno in a couple of days time.Cheers…!!!

"My younger brother and rash went to see the bike, they were floored by the build quality and the amazing looks. And they dyno’d the Bike and got a 0-60 time of around 3.5 ~ seconds. Everyone was more then impressed. The only thing lacking (delebrately) are the black alloy wheels and engiene job, which I’m sure will be offered as a upgrade." Heloo dudes …
I rode the 220FI today at the probiking showroom on the dynometer.
Awsome is the only word i can speak.
the Bike went to 126kmph without a sweat … and toped out at 132kmph … but getting her to 132 needs a bit time … and reall hight rpm.
i grounded the engine till 11500rpm …. the engine real smooth … has a nice thumping sound .. but does become harsh passed 10000rpm ….
but over all the engine was excellent …
And about the fit and finish … its reall nice … i didnt see any flaw … the headlights are excellent … nice and powerfull.
and the Bike looks reall big from the front end …
In pune the bookin has already started … the guy said .. that if i book today … i’ll get the Bike by second week of jan.
The Bike is priced at around 84000 on road in pune....
